The Prop Maker’s Journal

This year, my handmade work is all about thoughtful growth. Alongside continuing to knit baby rompers and sweaters, I’m expanding my wooden laser-cut discs—originally created for photographers—into more personalised decorations for everyone. With a focus on custom designs, meaningful details, and cohesive handmade pieces, my goal is to create items that feel warm, versatile, and truly special, whether they’re used in photoshoots, homes, or given as keepsakes.

I never thought I’d make knitted sweater and bloomer sets, but after so many requests, I gave in—and found so much joy in creating them.

I love exploring new ideas, staying true to myself, and making things that make my heart feel light.

Creating the perfect image to showcase your work is challenging—it needs to be not only visually interesting but also stylish and relatable. Choosing the right props, or sometimes none at all, is part of the creative struggle to stay inspired and on-trend.
